Abstract
This article introduces ‘Zafarnāma-i ʿishq’, a Dakkanī long poem (maṡnavī), written in the Seventeenth Century by Syed Muzaffar Ibn Syed Ayub Shāh. Six manuscripts of this poem have so far been found. Two are in the library of Salār Jang in Hyderabad, one in the Andra Pradesh Oriental Manuscript Library and Research Centre and two in Anjuman-i Taraqqī-i Urdu, Karachi. This maṡnavī is also known by the name of ‘Qissa-i mehr-o-māh’.
